Stinky tofu.
The "Stinky Tofu" often eaten as a popular snack food in Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, the smell is very easy to recognize, its so potent.
Particularly the first visitors on China, the scent of stinky tofu can be overbearing. Despite the smell, the dish is served from hundreds of street food vendors and small restaurants, especially in major cities like Beijing. Stinky tofu is usually made from a mixture of tofu combined with fermented milk, vegetables and a meat or fish based brine.
Stinky tofu can be eaten cold, steamed, stewed, or, most commonly, fried, and it is often accompanied by chili sauce or soy sauce.
Some people have compared it to the taste of blue cheese, while others have compared it to rotten meat. It is said that the more it smells, the better its flavor.
A similar sensation to biting into soft egg boiled, it is highly recommended to try this plate if you will go to china. ;)
Pd: i never would eat that haha, but its a very interesting tipe of street food.
